By paying attention to thoughts, emotions and physical sensations as we talk about what’s going on in your life, we will disentangle perceptions of threat from neutrality; thereby offering relief from stress and anxiety right in session. Sometimes we’ll use creative methods like guided visualization or gentle organic body movements to release unprocessed stress. This interactive and integrative practice brings together interpersonal psychology, mindfulness meditation, and the Organic Intelligence and Somatic Experiencing approaches of nervous system regulation to offer a well-rounded method to reestablish resilience, creativity, joy, and connection.
Finally, since I am also a certified nutritionist, I’ll also take your physiological health into account as we prioritize your needs together. As desired, I can make nutritional recommendations as appropriate to support your wellness goals.
This practice comes to life when we reveal how the trials of your past have created the very strengths that you need to meet the challenges you face. When we can deeply integrate this knowing, freedom is possible.

OI coaching is great for the person who doesn't really need or want therapy but is looking to find greater access to joy, a more authentic, vibrant life, or to optimize post-trauma growth. OI uses nervous system regulation methods to overcome stress-related symptoms that show up in our bodies and minds. It is a mindfulness-based approach that works with attunement to personal strengths to support the body's natural tendency to move toward balance and wellness.
